Voice over

Happy New Year to you all!
Virginie has just been booked for a voice over ( film) next week in London.

Q: What do you like about voice over work?

Virginie: There is a great variety of work in voice overs, whether it is for a commercial or an animation or a narrative on a documentary. Q: Which voice over artist do you like the most or have recently enjoyed the work of?

Virginie:I think Steve Buscemi as Randall (in Monsters, Inc.) did a brilliant job, so did Edward Asner as Carl Frederickson (in Up). It is very hard to cast voices and

Q: How would you describe your voice?

Virginie: Well I have had to ask other people that question, as it is always very hard to define your own voice.
It is officially described by my agent on Spotlight as being "direct" and "melodious"...
But also my accent is a mix of British/French/American twang, I can either emphasize one or another, which is fantastic as it broadens the opportunities for Europe and the USA.

Q: What character in animation would you want to have been the voice of?

Virginie: I don't recall any characters which I thought was not well cast...and I don't think the character I would like to lend my voice to has been brought to screen yet...so, to all animators out there, give me a shout when you create it...I would love to collaborate on a Pixar production also
